ADMISSIONS


Once you have all the necessary information about pilot training and have decided to enroll in one of the courses offered by National Aviation Specialist Academy (NASA) International Inc. the following steps will guide you to enrollment.

STEP 1 - COMPLETE THE APPLICATION OF ADMISSION
STEP 2 - TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
STEP 3 - PAYMENTS
STEP 4 - ENTRANCE EVALUATION

STEP 1 -

COMPLETE THE APPLICATION OF ADMISSION

Complete and sign the Application for Admission Form and submit it along with the required documents.

Application for Admission

  1. Application for Admission.
  2. Police Clearance authenticated by the Embassy of the Philippines.
  3. Affidavit of Support authenticated by the Embassy of the Philippines.
  4. Photo copy of Passport.
  5. Photo copy of Airman Medical Certificate.

You may contact the Civil Aviation Authority in your country to request for an authorized flight surgeon that will issue you an Airman Medical Certificate.

To check the list of Civil Aviation

  1. Photo / ID Picture (1x1 – 6 pcs and 2x2 – 4 pcs). It must be in white shirt with collar and white background.
  2. Registration Fee of $500.00 (non-refundable)
  3. Photo copy of Pilot’s License and current Airman Medical Certificate.
  4. Photo copy of the last 5 pages of your logbook and instructor’s endorsement.
  5. Certificate from the previous school.

Philippine students shall submit above listed items 4 and 5 with an NBI clearance. Applicants with flying experience shall submit a photo copy of pilot’s license, current airman medical certificate, last 5 pages of pilot’s logbook, and certification from the previous flight school. The accuracy and completeness of the information is important for our preliminary evaluation, visa processing, clearances, and pilot’s license.

We guarantee the confidentiality of the information you sent to us and will not be disclosed to any third parties. Access to this information is only given to authorized personnel of National Aviation Specialist Academy (NASA) International Inc.

National Aviation Specialist Academy (NASA) International Inc. reserves the right to deny a student who provide/s incomplete information or fraudulent documents, and does not pass our student’s acceptance criteria.

STUDENTS WHO ARE ACCEPTED BY THE SCHOOL WILL RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING:

  1. CONFIRMATION LETTER
  2. ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

STEP 2 -

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Foreign students who need to obtain a Philippine visa for their travel must confirm their enrollment at least 1 month prior to the commencement date of the course to anticipate any unexpected delays in the processing.

You may check the list of countries which do not need a visa to travel to the Philippines http://www.dfa.gov.ph/consular/visa.htm

However, if you are required to have a visa, we suggest for your convenience to obtain a Philippine Visitor’s Visa. After your arrival and your enrollment status with us is confirmed, a Special Study Permit with a validity of 1 year will be processed at the Philippine Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID).

The following documents will be required to obtain a Special Study Permit.

  1. Photo copy of your Passport.
  2. Police Clearance from the country of origin authenticated by the Embassy of the Philippines.
  3. Affidavit of Support authenticated by the Embassy of the Philippines.
  4. Photo / ID Picture (1x1 - 6 pcs and 2x2 - 4 pcs). It must be in white shirt with collar and white background.
  5. Payment $500.00

STEP 3 -

PAYMENTS

Payment is due upon commencement of the training. The Enrollment Agreement provides information pertaining to the total costs and payment method of the course.

Payments stated on page 1 of the Enrollment Agreement are due upon commencement. However, less-than-full payment or installment payment schedule should be arranged in advance. Payments must be made either in cashier's check or bank wire transfer directly to the bank account of National Aviation Specialist Academy (NASA) International Inc.

STEP 4 -

ENTRANCE EVALUATION

Personal interview will be conducted by the Chief Flight Instructor or his designated personnel. Skill and aptitude assessment test will be performed to determine if the student has the potential to succeed in the training.

For applicants who have previous flying background, a pilot's license validation check will be conducted for at least 10.0 hrs of actual flight. The following provides explanation pertaining to the pilot's license validation check.

  1. To ensure that the applicant has the appropriate aeronautical knowledge and skills that conforms to the pilot's license, ratings, and flight time experience he/she holds.
  2. To meet the requirements of the Philippine Air Transportation Office in the conversion of foreign pilot's license / certificates. Since most of our training programs requires you to complete an actual solo flight experience it is mandatory that you carry a valid Philippine pilot's license.
